Michael Fields Before founding 2M Investment Partners, Michael worked for Bain Capital, an investment firm with $75B under management, on the North American Private Equity team. Michael primarily focused on industrials, financial services, and retail investments. He spent particular time with companies operating in payment processing, packaging, retail, real estate management, and light manufacturing.
Michael also worked for Apple Leisure Group, a resort management and vacation packaging company, and Platform Specialty Products, a specialty chemical company. Michael received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Michael graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College, where he earned a B.A. in Economics and Government. While at Dartmouth, Michael founded Dart Dorm Rentals, a futon rental company, and was President of Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity. |
Michael Kober Prior to founding 2M Investment Partners, Michael was a member of the North American Private Equity team at 3i Group, an international investment management firm. While at 3i, Michael primarily covered the industrials and business services sectors. Within industrials, Michael spent considerable time in specialty manufacturing.
Prior to joining 3i, Michael was a member of the North American Private Equity team at Bain Capital, where he focused on the industrials, business services, and financial services sectors. Michael began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse, where he was an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. While at Georgetown, Michael helped lead a profitable student-run food service organization. |
